Dr. Lakin

Dr. Lakin Radeka was born and raised in the small town of Essexville, Michigan. He earned his undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University, where his passion for dentistry first began — inspired by a desire to make a lasting difference in the lives of his patients. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.

After graduating, Dr. Radeka moved to Arizona to begin advanced clinical training in sedation dentistry and full mouth rehabilitation at the Center for Dental Rehabilitation under the mentorship of Dr. Maureen Toal. During his two years there, he gained extensive experience managing complex dental and medical cases, focusing on restoring both oral health and overall well-being through a comprehensive, medically informed approach.

Dr. Radeka continued to advance his education by completing multiple training and advanced courses in implant dentistry across Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. These programs refined his skills in surgical implant full-mouth restoration, enabling him to transform smiles and function for patients.

Dr. Radeka believes that sedation dentistry is not only a tool to achieve excellent clinical results, but also a powerful way to build trust and comfort with his patients. By creating a calm and anxiety-free experience, sedation allows him to treat even the most dental-phobic patients safely and effectively. This approach helps patients feel at ease, enabling Dr. Radeka to deliver high-quality, comprehensive care while restoring their confidence in both their smile and the dental experience itself.

Dr. Radeka’s treatment philosophy centers around the belief that to truly treat the mouth, we must first treat the person as a whole. By understanding each patient’s unique medical history, lifestyle, and goals, he builds deep connections rooted in trust and compassion. Outside the office, Dr. Radeka enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle — climbing mountains in Colorado, camping beneath Arizona’s desert skies, and boating on the Great Lakes of Michigan with his wife. A passionate hobbyist, he also loves woodworking and designing custom furniture with rustic, antique-inspired details. His eye for precision and craftsmanship in the workshop mirrors the same dedication he brings to his dental artistry every day.
