I have been a nurse for 42 years and have worked for Dr. Toal over 20 years.

While working for Dr. Toal, I worked full time in the emergency center at a level one Trauma/EC center as a staff nurse, clinical lead and prehospital care coordinator. As prehospital care coordinator I oversaw paramedics and IEMTs from Phoenix, National Park Service, rural communities (Ajo, Salt River, Heber Overgaard AZ, Young AZ) and provided continuing education and clinical experience for the first responders. I also arranged the medical support (physicians, nurses, first responders and medical equipment) for the Grand Prix and National Skating Championship.

I then worked in the perianesthesia recovery room unit at the same level one facility until I retired from hospital nursing.

I enjoy working with Dr. Toal’s patients and getting to know them and their families overtime. Such a great experience see all our patients pain free, smiling and healthy again.
